When this service can help
A survey may identify a local crack, fractured section or defective joint while the surrounding drain remains suitable for retention. That can lead to a patch-lining assessment. Repeated blockages at the same location can also prompt investigation, but the repair should be based on a visible and assessed defect rather than symptoms alone.
Common causes
Local damage may occur at a joint or within a short section of pipe. An opening can allow ingress or catch material moving through the drain. The extent of the defect, pipe shape and surrounding condition need to be understood before deciding whether a local patch is enough or a longer repair is appropriate.
How we solve it
We review CCTV footage and access to locate the defect and assess dimensions, bends and connected branches. The repair area needs appropriate cleaning and preparation. Where roots or attached deposits obscure the pipe surface, those may need to be dealt with first. The quotation should identify the proposed repair location and scope. A prepared patch repair is positioned at the suitable defect using specialist installation equipment and cured according to the chosen system. It is then checked by CCTV. Positioning matters: the repair must suit the pipe geometry and take connected branches into account. We confirm the method and any limitations after inspection.
